The ranch’s deep history started centuries ago with the hunters and gatherers that called this canyon land home. Between 3,000 to 9,000 years ago these Ancient Texans painted their stories of hunting, love, beliefs and hardships on the walls of the caves high up on the limestone cliffs that line the waterways of Big Satan Creek and the Devils River.
Indianhead Ranch has since been a privately owned 10,000 acre ranch with 3 and a half miles of gorgeous cliffs over Lake Amistad and the Devils River. In the early 80’s a Frenchman by the name of Felip Delagrange introduced several exotic species creating a one of a kind hunting experience.
Since then the ranch has maintained sustainable populations of these hearty species for hunters to pursue in a safari style of hunting. With pristine open-rangeland, you are sure to have the finest fair-chase hunting experience in Texas!
